Salt Lake City, Utah (January 19, 2022) Recently, President and CEO Danny Lee announced two promotions in 4Life’s R&D department. Vice President of Research and Development Brent Vaughan, Ph.D., RD, will advance to Senior Vice President of R&D. Lawry Han, Ph.D., previously Senior Director of Product Development, will advance to Vice President of Product Development.
Dr. Vaughan started at 4Life in November 2003 as a Research Scientist. Since then, he’s served as the Director of Health Information Services, Senior Director of Research and Development, and Vice President of Research and Development. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and playing soccer. He and his wife have two children. For nearly twenty years, Dr. Vaughan has committed himself to 4Life product development, research activities, and the technical scientific needs of the company.
Dr. Han began at 4Life one year ago. He arrived at 4Life with more than a decade of experience in scientific research and product development. He is a regulatory specialist, quality engineer, and scientist. He received a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Xi’an Jiao Tong University (China) and has a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Biochemistry (the Biological Sciences) from the University of Utah. During his career, he has been a leader in product formulation and innovation for many of the industry’s biggest companies. His work includes intensive nutraceutical education, the innovation of over 100 products, and the publication of 30 peer-reviewed research papers.
